Baguio City: Pine Breeze Cottages

We arrived in Baguio City around 8:00 in the evening.

I asked the first driver I saw, "Kuya, pwede po sa Pine Breeze?"
"Hindi ko alam 'yun, saan lugar 'yun?" he asked.
"Sa may Bokawkawan po" I answered.

"Ay, hindi ko alam 'yun, tsaka iba ang ruta ko. May reservation na ba kayo du'n?"

Si kuya nangungumisyon... hmp!

Wait for minutes...

"Kuya alam n'yo po 'yung Pine Breeze"

"Oo alam ko, sa'n banda?"

"Sa Bokawkawan po."
Sandali siyang nag-isip.

"Sige, tayo na."

I'm all smile.... ^________________^
(Not obvious?)

It cost 60 pesos from Victory Liner going to Pine Breeze Cottages.

And when we arrived I understand the first driver why he didn't know the place.
It's because it's not Bokawkawan, it's Bokawkan. Duh! Tsk Tsk!
But so great that the second driver is so kind to understand me. ^_^

I've read blogs about Pine Breeze Cottages but no details about the cottage itself.
So I decided to take pictures of the cottage that we are staying to serve as reference to anybody who can read my blog.

They said strictly, but good thing they don't ask us to pay charges for our late check-in. Thank you...
Enough to put our few things inside.

And we wanted to know about the comfort room, see:

Actually, it's clean. But the hard part here is the flushing... so careful.

My brother said he'll try the shower.
Ooops! No hot water. Freezing during shower.

I've read a comment about Pine Breeze Cottages complaining there's no tissue in there. But they do have. Maybe one of their improvement. It's really important having this thing inside the comfort room, right?

The pictures I've taken during the night is not so good. It's frustrating really.
The moon shines bright as well as the glittering lights of the residential houses on top of the moutain. (Sigh) Reason why I wanted to have good camera.

We just arrange our things and off we went for our dinner.

We wanted to take a walk to feel the cool breeze but unfortunately it's not advisable.
It's dangerous to take a walk when there are trucks and public vehicles, it's not so dark but really scary. Good thing there's a jeepney stopped to let us hop in. I'm sorry I am the kind of a person who didn't count change so I don't know how much it costs from Pine Breeze going to Burnham Park.

Wanted to see how beautiful it is to be in Pine Breeze Cottages during day time?

Take a look....

Good morning Baguio City...

Etsoserang Mudrakels ko... ^_^

Just outside the cottage where we slept.

The following are the small cottages:

The entrance to this native community like is this:

Looking at the close shot of the flowers:

And the public toilet and bathroom:

Look at these tiny cottages:

Their office:

Checked out and off we go.

Uh, OK. New name of the road.

I love our stay here in Pine Breeze Cottages.
Experience old Baguio, maybe because the cottages are old but clean.
And you cannot hear noises, the reason why sleeping time is great.

I like the small cottages and the flowers around.

What I don't like is the shower, I don't want to be frozen during a bath.
Don't think that I don't take a bath. Here's my evidence ^_^

So if you wanted a quiet place to stay and  close to nature, you could stay here.

The next time I visit Baguio City, I will go back here.
