Hard Times

It started since yesterday that I've tried to write a post about my miniture garden and the beauties that I've found roaming around our yard last Friday.

Unfortunately, I am having a problem inserting the photos I have taken.

I just decided to write it paste the pictures on MS Word. I don't want to miss the feeling of craving to write and share what happened that day.

I don't know what to do...T_T

But I promise to post them sooner...

I Revive It!

(Long sigh....of relief)

OK, remember my previous post regarding my broken SD card?

Now  it's working.

I've mentioned about the failed attempt to download an anti virus that I've read that he said can help to revive a broken SD card.

What did I do to revive it?

Nothing ^_____^

I was so frustrated and teary eyed for the fear of I cannot retrive all the saved pictures anymore. And that's the time that I decided to take out the SD card from my android phone.

After a couple of minutes staring these pieces, I decided to turn off my mobile phone. Before turning it on I inserted back the SD card and......

The "Media Scanning" pop out and it made my eyes grew wider with excitement.
My hands are being wet by the sweat due to the intense moment.

And....NOW IT'S WORKING.

I...am....so...glad... ^_______^

But I have to make sure to save the pictures I have taken on the PC I am using.

Right now I am planning to buy a new one in case the one I am using is non-usable.

My SD Card is Broken and so with My Heart

This is so heartbreaking for me.... T_T

When I tried to charge my android phone earlier and tried to connect USB, pop-up advise to reformat my SD card.
And this one freightened me... the idea of loosing all the pictures that I have, which I am planning to save while I'm charging my phone, gives me a creep and worried me alot.

I click "Cancel" and when I tried to connect it again..." SD CARD REMOVED. INSERT NEW ONE".

I've turned off my off, took out the battery, the SD card and the SIM card hoping it will work after I inserted them back to my phone.

But the thing is.. IT DOESN'T WORK.

I've read about the Dr. Web Light after typing the search engine that someone experienced the same problem.

But....I received an error message.

I cannot download the Anti Virus...

T_T

As much as I wanted to retrieve the pictures which I am planning to post, from the busy social activities, to the "miniture garden" project that I've done over the long weekend... I CAN'T...

Hopefully, tomorrow will give me a bright chance... hopefully....

Love my Curls

As I've mentioned on my previous post, I will appreciate now my natural curly hair.

Yesterday, I decided to give a style on my boring hair:

And here's what it looks like when I loosen the braid, Tadaaaaa!

I just didn't use shampoo for days but I notice that my hair is stronger. It's soft to touch.

I still have to manage some untamed hair moments but I'm loving it....

The Green in Me

There is something in me that I can't explain.

How I feel at peace and relaxed whenever I see trees, or flowers or grass. How I felt joy whenever I smell them.

And as my mother told me, to stop me from crying when I was a child she always let me see sky and trees, and she said it's very effective.

I found this at our backyard. I imagined it was a miniature forest.

Last Saturday I feel the sense of responsibility to clean our church.
I decided to check on the growing unwanted grasses outside since most of those who came to clean the church wanted to clean inside.

Spot these lovelies:

Can you tell what did I spot?

Ok I'll give you a better look:

These lovely mini flowers for me is so feminine, very delicate, sweet, adorable and I can compare it to a woman.
Besides these characteristics, I see it's toughness. No one takes care of it but it still manage to grow and be alive.
The power to keep itself alive is a big thing. In the middle of the forest of grass, competition on sucking nutrition from the ground and have the sun's energy but still it manage to stand stood still.

I adore it's loveliness and admire it's strength and courage to live.

For this reason, since it is not needed in the church's ground, I will give them a space in our little place.

I really enjoy the cleaning time.

I saw a small rose with a dramatic effect caused by the rain drop:

And these are what I have gathered:

These poor things are almost dying when I gone home. I get the pot from my dead plant and dig them in:

And since this pot is not enough I decided to dig some on the small container and on the ground where my mother have some plants.

And the next day, here's how they look like:

They are now full of life ^_^

I also took a photos of them yesterday:

I'm glad I have them... hopefully they could produce many little flowers ^_^

Time to Appreciate

I was surfing the net last Tuesday searching for Baguio City because I missed my happy place so  much, suddenly I saw a curly haired blogger.

My fingers type as if it has it's own mind, "natural curly hair". Click!

Then all the articles and bloggers who are curly haired appear before my eyes.

Reading their stories inspired me and even excite me, and made me realize, "Hey! Why not accept the fact that I have curly hair?"

Going to salon to rebond my hair costs thousand of Peso and you'll have to do it twice a year.

My first and definitely will be my last rebonding session done November 2011. I'm the type of a woman who doesn't bother myself much with regards to my personal appearance. And going to salon for me is like lifting big heavy rock. I'm not overreacting, this is just how I feel.

After reading articles and stories about curly haired women, I come to accept the fact and that there's nothing wrong being my hair curly. I just have to accept it and cherish it, and nourish my crowning glory.

I have learned that shampoo is harsh on curly hairs, they used conditioners to clean hair, sounds itchy?

There are some that does the every-other-day-shower thing, this one...I cannot do this.

And during my college days I always made it a joke that it's better not to comb my hair, then I found out that it's true. Combing hair is not advisable unless you'll going to comb your hair under flowing water from shower. Combing your curly hair when it's dry especially fine combs is a NO NO! It will break the curls and might be harsh on your curly hair strands.

Hmmmm...actually, yesterday I didn't use shampoo and today... ^_^

So my hair becomes from this:

to this:

See the curls?

I didn't use comb, I used my fingers to fix it.
I wish I have leave ins. I think wet curly hair is great.

This is the first day.

And the second day is this:

It's still wet so I decided to topknot my hair while it's still wet.

And this is the first time that I wore pink ;)

I can't wait for tomorrow....

I will be loving my curly hair ^_^

Someone Snatch Your Candies, Your Holidays :'(

Having a break from the stressful days at work is a great benefit for an employee.

I know, if not all, most of employees are craving for Holiday breaks.

Experts will agree if I say, it will help every employees to unwind and be motivated.

Talking about me, I'm really craving for Holiday breaks. Every month I'm checking on the red font number in the calendar, and that would mean, it's the most especial day of the month.

But....as I've heard the news while I was watching the news last week, D.O.L.E. is eyeing on new policy with regards to the holidays. Oh...no.....!

I just remembered this issue while I was browsing for fun and adventure experiences of Pinoy Travel Bloggers.

I browse the net to read on the article because what's clear for me is that my candies will be taken away from me once it is approved and signed.

I found the article from PHILSTAR:
http://www.philstar.com/headlines/2013/07/10/963690/dole-eyes-new-holiday-policies

Here's what caught my eye and starting to give me a teary eye:

"Labor Secretary Rosalinda Baldoz yesterday said the government is looking at the possibility of adopting working holidays and other recommendations benefiting both workers and employers."

"According to the labor chief, employers believe that the number of declared national and local holidays in the country is excessive and negatively affects business operations."

Does that mean we can only do adventurous things during the weekends? What if I only have one Rest Day?

I know the local holidays, like each locality has holidays, is just additional and they said it hinder operations. Hmmm...maybe this one can be taken away.

We have experienced the inconvenience of the local holiday. We didn't know that the date of our delivery is the date the City is established and we can't make delivery since there's noone to sign and approve our permit. That's one disadvantage, and for the employer, they have to pay employees who are working that day.

Hopefully...they will not take away those precious non-working holidays...

I hope they could come out for a better idea.

A Date with Mother Nature

Last Saturday, July 6, is a fun environment friendly day.

Our mission for that day is to dig and plant the future tree for our love to nature.

We didn't just plant a tree and fun but we also planted friendship, strong bond and witness the beauty of nature versus the cruelty of man. The latter is the sad part, "cruelty of man".

Pictures will tell the story of that day, please try to dig the emotions and feel the ambiance:

Tired but happy.....

That's all folks....!

Hopefully next enviroment adventure trip will be "Coastal Cleaning"... ^____^
