Treasure Me...

Still my right heel is not in good condition.

Still hurts whenever I walk and put pressure on it and it's driving me crazy.

And I come to realization that... this "thing" is important to me but I didn't appreciate it before.

Before, walking is like racing for me. My mother used to call me Road Runner because I walk really really fast. She said I always like on a walkathon. I didn't mind walking 3kms everyday from our office which is located in gate 2 of Laguna Technopark going to gate 3 where public jeepneys are. And for these reasons she said I am abusing my feet and it's not good for my health. And I didn't give attention to my feet when they say "Hey, can we go on slowly or better take a rest for a minute?"

And it reminds me of the rabbit who always say "Fast as fast can be, you never catch me". I'm sorry I don't remember what's the name of that show.

Walking slowly makes me feel sleepy and I feel like I am lazy if I will walk like a in a slow motion.

And this is one of my problem now that my right heel is in pain.

I have a mountain biking schedule last Sunday and the doctor doesn't allow me, of course. I waited for so long for this.

And this makes me wanna cry....

My mother said, He let it happened so that I could learn how to walk proper and to take care of my self.

Doing adventurous things and going to places I wanted to visit is not possible as of now. And I am feeling bored.

Hoping for my right heel's soonest recovery... T_T

Independence Day Jump! Biking Not Allowed

I think there's nothing wrong with  my right ankle, right?

OK, I will tell what happened.

June 12 is Philippines Independence Day, so it's a non-working holiday and that means...we can enjoy ^_^

As  the eldest and the only female, I decided to be loving and caring sister to my younger brothers.

I woke up early in the morning to prepare our food:

All of us, same lunch boxes and here's my trying hard bento boxes ^_^
Sorry...so poor in presentation. But I hope they enjoyed their meal that day.

Additional to my excitement is that my best friend that came home from Dubai after so many years also attend the event called "THIS IS KADIWA".

The venue is in Tagaytay City which is not so far from G.M.A., Cavite.

We are looking forward to taste the Mushroom Burger and see what's the District Officers have prepared for all the KADIWA in Cavite.

We arrived early but not the first one to arrive. So we decided to chill and took some picture:

Reunited...
Me, Manilyn (the balik bayan), and Michelle
My last happy jump shot

See the giant Ferris Wheel ;)
And now... it's gone
Just kidding, the fog hide the giant ferris wheel

I love her freshness in here..

Since it is still early, we decided to let our hungry tummy enjoy the mushroom burger.

I'm getting really curious about the taste...

I didn't have the chance to took photos of the burger because my tummy is super excited to taste it.

It tastes like meat ^_^

And their counter is like those of the fast food chain's.

And I didn't notice that after I ate my french fries, I also ate my brother's fries.
I just realised it when he asked me where's his fries, sorry....
I told him I just got carried away by our chat ^_^

When we get back, there are soooo many KADIWA lining up to enter the convention center.

It was so hot that day but I'm thanking the clouds act as airconditioner ^_^

After hours watching, we decided to enjoy our lunches outside.

We decided to take pictures after eating.

My brother is not acting when I took this, he is actually asking me to make it faster 'cause he can't hold the pose hehehe! Got him!

And the much awaited....
When I first saw the military tank, I really got excited by the idea that I will be having a pose on top of it.
Since there were so many KADIWA who got their photos taken, I told them to pose on top of it.
As for my term, "Astig".

We have to hurry up posing because one of the staff of the place asked us to go down immediately.

And this is before the jump...

I just come to realize that it's so high when I saw these pictures...

And the hair raising thing is that I landed right heel first.

I didn't let them see me cry in pain but that was soooooooo painful!

Until now my right foot is still swollen but I'm not crying in pain anymore.

But the idea that I have posed on top of this tank, makes me feel proud, haha!

The sad part of this is that I am not allowed to go mountain biking which is scheduled on Sunday, June 23 T_T

That's super sad... but as much as I wanted my foot will definitely kill me if I insist.

So the lesson I have learned is that, don't jump when you will land one-foot heel first ^_^
Just kidding. Be careful everyone. Happy weekend....

Poclay's Ultimate Summer Experience Opportunity to have GC from Native Shoes

Got the news from Girl Kuripot ( http://www.girl-kuripot.com/2013/06/blog-about-your-summer-experiece-win-native-shoes-philippines.html ) that Native Shoes will be giving away GC.

I was very excited upon knowing this. I know a light shoes will help me make every experience and every adventure fun.

I'm like a one-day old chick, that's how I can best describe myself ^_^

Not on how I look but in terms of finding what will make me happy and alive.

My life is so boring until I decided to come out of the shell and discover life during the New Year's Eve.

Summer of 2013 is what I could declare the "Great Summer of Poclay" for the following reasons:

My come back to Baguio City together with my Mama/bestfriend and the baby of our family ^_^
I love sharing the experience with them.... I will definitely going back to Baguio City but with the whole family.

I wanted to experience climbing up a mountain for a long time, and 2013 gave me the chance to make it possible.
See, I'm a playful  person really ;)
This cheap shoes helped me climb it up and down the mountain without the slips, I'm super thankful
and I feel successful

Summer of 2013 also gave me the opportunity to check one of the things I have on my bucket list, it's to dive ^_______^

And this year's summer experience is totally amazing.

All of these, except for the Baguio City trip is my first time, and it will not be erased in my memory.

These adventures make me feel alive and made me realize that it's fun to be alive.

And next year I  know that there are great adventures coming on my way and I will grab every opportunity to do that ^_____^

Yours,
Poclay
